RETURNS

We want you to love your MATTIR pieces. If something isn't quite right, you may be eligible to return it under the conditions below.



FULL PRICE ITEMS are eligible for refund, 110% credit note, or exchange.

DISCOUNT CODES (15% OR LESS) are eligible for refund, 110% credit note, or exchange.

SALE ITEMS are eligible for 100% store credit or exchange only.

FINAL SALE ITEMS are not eligible for return unless deemed faulty.


SUBMIT YOUR RETURN REQUEST HERE

Items must be lodged for return within 14 days of receiving your order. Items must be in original condition with all tags attached. Items must be unworn and unwashed. Items must not have been altered in any way.

AUSTRALIAN RETURNS

If you choose not to purchase our Checkout+ Returns Coverage at checkout, a flat return processing fee of $13 will be deducted from your refund.

Alternatively, you may return your item using your preferred carrier at your own expense.

Once your return has been received and approved, it will be processed within 2–4 business days. Please allow a further 5–7 business days for the funds to appear in your account, depending on your financial institution's processing times.

INTERNATIONAL RETURNS

The same 14-day return period and return conditions apply to all international orders.

If you choose not to purchase our Checkout+ Returns Coverage at checkout, a flat return processing fee of $60 will be deducted from your refund. This fee will be charged in your local currency for customers in New Zealand, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Europe, or in USD for all other regions.

Alternatively, you may return your item using your own preferred carrier at your own expense.

CHECKOUT+ RETURNS

We offer Checkout+ and provide free return shipping. Customers that take advantage of our $5 Checkout+ option upon placing their order will receive a prepaid label through our portal for any returns request. Customers who opt out are responsible for the costs of return shipping. Labels should be purchased through our returns portal.

All returns are subject to the guidelines outlined in our Return Policy.

INSTANT EXCHANGES

We offer free exchanges to make finding your perfect fit as seamless as possible.

Once your exchange request has been submitted through our returns portal and approved, a return label will be provided. As soon as your return is processed at our warehouse, your new size will be dispatched free of an extra shipping charge.

Exchange stock is not reserved until your return has been accepted into our warehouse. To avoid your preferred size selling out, we recommend lodging your return as soon as possible.

All items must be returned within 14 days of delivery in their original condition - unworn, unwashed, with all tags attached and packaging intact.

REFUNDS

If your return is eligible for a refund, you will be refunded back to your original payment method, less the return shipping fee and any original shipping fees. Once the refund has been issued, you will be notified via email. Please allow up to 5-7 business days for this amount to appear in your account.

110% STORE CREDIT

Eligible full-priced returns will receive a store credit valued at 110% of the original purchase price.

Store credits are valid for three years from the date of issue and will be sent to your email with a unique code that can be redeemed online at checkout.

If an item purchased using a store credit is returned, a new store credit will be issued for the eligible return amount.

FINAL SALE

Final Sale items include products purchased as part of a promotional offer, marked-down styles, or items identified as clearance.

Items marked as FINAL SALE on the collection and product page are not eligible for return, refund, exchange, or store credit, unless deemed faulty in accordance with applicable consumer laws.

BUY NOW, PAY LATER ORDERS

If you purchased using Afterpay, Klarna, PayPal Pay in 4, or another Buy Now, Pay Later service, any approved refund will be processed back to your original payment provider in accordance with their terms and conditions.

If you choose to receive a store credit, your Buy Now, Pay Later repayment schedule will remain unchanged and payments must continue until the original purchase has been paid in full. Your store credit will be issued separately via email and can be used immediately on a future purchase.

INCORRECT OR FAULTY ITEMS

Every MATTIR piece undergoes a thorough quality control process before dispatch. If you receive an item that is incorrect or believe it may be faulty, please contact us at hello@mattir.com.au with your order number and clear images of the issue. Our team will review your claim and work with you to find a resolution as quickly as possible.

GIFT WITH PURCHASE

If a return is made on items placed within the order, the gift must be included in the return. 

CAN I RETURN UNDERGARMENTS?

Due to sanitary and hygiene reasons, we are unable to offer returns for undergarments.

EU RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive, you have the right to withdraw from many contracts within 14 days of receiving your order, without providing any reason.

Please note that under Article 14(1) of Directive 2011/83/EU, customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping. A prepaid label will be provided through our withdrawal portal; the label cost will be deducted from your refund.

We will issue your refund within fourteen (14) days of receiving notification of your cancellation, or, if later, once we have received the returned goods or you have provided proof that the goods have been shipped back to us.

This right applies to all items purchased through our store, with certain exceptions such as digital products, perishable goods, sealed personal hygiene products, and personalized items, as set forth in Article 16 of Directive 2011/83/EU.
