We want you to love your MATTIR pieces. If something isn’t quite right, you may be eligible to return it under the conditions below.
FULL PRICE ITEMS are eligible for refund, 110% credit note, or exchange.
DISCOUNT CODES (15% OR LESS) are eligible for refund, 110% credit note, or exchange.
SALE ITEMS are eligible for 100% store credit or exchange only.
FINAL SALE ITEMS are not eligible for return unless deemed faulty.
CONDITIONS OF RETURN
- Items must be lodged for return within 14 days of receiving your order.
- Items must be in original condition, unworn, unwashed, undamaged, and with all tags (and hygiene seals, where applicable) attached.
- We reserve the right to reject returns that do not meet these conditions.
- Returns must be posted back within 7 days of being approved or the return will be void and only a credit note can be issued.
- Gift with Purchase: If a return is made on items placed within the order, the gift must be included in the return.
- Due to sanitary and hygiene reasons, we are unable to offer returns for undergarments.
HOW TO RETURN
Submit your return request online HERE.
We offer Checkout+ and provide free return shipping. Customers that take advantage of our Checkout+ option upon placing their order will receive a prepaid label through our portal for any returns request. Customers who opt out are responsible for the costs of return shipping. Labels should be purchased through our returns portal.
Upon lodging your return, it will be reviewed within 1–2 business days and you’ll receive a Return Authorization email. If you have purchased Checkout+, a prepaid return label will be provided at no extra cost once your return request is approved. If Checkout+ was not purchased, customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping. You will be required to pay for the return label when submitting your return using the link above.
Pack your items securely, attach the return label, and cover any old shipping labels.
Drop your parcel at a Post Office, Self-Service Kiosk, or approved Postal Provider within 14 days.
Once received, we’ll process your refund, credit note, or exchange within 1–3 business days.

What is “Free Returns” Coverage?
When you opt-in for the $5 Checkout+ coverage at checkout, your return shipping label is included, allowing you to return any item(s) in your order for a refund or exchange for free.
If you decide not to buy return coverage you can still return your items, but you will be responsible for the cost of the return shipping label.
All returns are subject to the guidelines outlined in our Return Policy.
DOMESTIC RETURNS (Australia)
- A flat fee of $13 will be deducted from your refund if you choose to opt out of our Checkout+ option ($5 at checkout).
- You may also return items using a carrier of your choice (at your cost).
- Refunds are processed within 1–3 business days of receiving your return in good condition.
- For refunds, please allow 3–5 business days for funds to appear in your account (bank processing times may vary).
INTERNATIONAL RETURNS
- The same 14-day return window and conditions apply.
- If you choose to opt out of our Checkout+ option ($5 at checkout), a flat fee of $60 will be deducted from your refund. Charged in local currency for NZ, US, EU & UK or USD.
- You may also return items with your own carrier at your cost.
IMPORTANT NOTES
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method only, including prepaid credit cards.
- We are not responsible for returns lost in transit. For your protection, we recommend using a tracked and insured service.
- Please share your return tracking number with us so we can monitor your parcel in transit.
